Der 33 Jahre alte Kenianer wurde am Sonntag seiner Favoritenrolle gerecht, bestimmte das Rennen vom Start an und rannte in unglaublichen 2:01:39 Stunden durchs Ziel an der Stra\u00dfe des 17. Juni.<br \/>\nBei anfangs idealen Wetterbedingungen war der Olympiasieger damit 1:18 Minute schneller als sein Landsmann Dennis Kimetto vor vier Jahren auf dem gleichen Kurs. Kipchoge ist damit der Erste, der die klassischen 42,195 Kilometern unter 2:02 Stunden absolvierte.<\/p>\n<p>Mit am Start waren auch mehrere Teilnehmer unserer Abteilung. Schnellster Vertreter war Michael Bauer\u00a0 in starken 3:06:52 h. Peter Gro\u00dfberger kam nach 3:46:03 h im Zielkanal an. Ute Lindner und Brigitte Schmid liefen den gesamten Marathon gemeinsam und \u00fcberquerten die Ziellinie nach dem Brandenburger Tor in 4:05:23 h.
