Insgesamt waren \u00fcber 70000 L\u00e4uferinnen und L\u00e4ufer beim Athen Marathon am Start. Die Entfernung zwischen dem historischen Ort Marathon und Athen betr\u00e4gt 40 km. Die standardisierte L\u00e4nge betrug aber 42,195 km und endet im Panathinaiko- Stadion in Athen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dabei waren auch Anja Langer und Claus Schlumpberger von der TSG Schnaitheim. Anja Langer lief zum ersten mal die Marathondistanz und kam nach 4:04:40 h \u00fcbergl\u00fccklich ins Ziel eingelaufen. Es ist ein harter Marathon wegen seiner Steigungen. Aus diesem Grund laufen die meisten ihn eher wegen seines historischen Wertes und nicht wegen pers\u00f6nlicher Bestzeit.\u00a0 Claus Schlumpberger lief die 10 km. Er kam nach 53:43 min ins Ziel eingelaufen und war sehr beindruckt von der Atmosph\u00e4re im Stadion.<\/p>\n<\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">.fusion-gallery-1 .fusion-gallery-image {border:0px solid
