Er startete auf der Classic Distanz. Kurz vor dem Start hatte er sogar noch Zeit f\u00fcr ein kurzes Gespr\u00e4ch und Selfie mit dem ehemaligen Weltmeister Daniel Unger. Zum Gl\u00fcck sank die Wassertemperatur nach der Hitzewelle auf 21,8\u00b0C so das es erlaubt war mit dem Neoprenanzug in den gro\u00dfen Alpsee zu starten. Es wurde in verschiedenen Abst\u00e4nden gestartet. Um 7:45 Uhr beim ersten Startpulk bei den Frauen lag die Au\u00dfentemperatur im einstelligen Bereich bei 8\u00b0C. F\u00fcr das schwimmen \u00fcber 1,9 km ben\u00f6tigte Michel Bauer 43:05 min. Der H\u00e4rtetest war das Radfahren hier m\u00fcssen die Athleten bei 92 km \u00fcber 1300 HM \u00fcberwinden. Es musste nicht nur zweimal der Kalvarienberg mit max. Steigung von 16% \u00fcberwunden werden, sondern ebenso der Gegenwind war kr\u00e4fteraubend. Michael Bauer kam nach 3:34:38 h in die Wechselzone. Nun ging es auf die zwei Runden \u00fcber 10 km Laufstrecke. Auch dieser Abschnitt hatte ihre Besonderheiten. Den ber\u00fchmten Kuhsteig mit \u00fcber 15 % Steigung mussten die Athleten dabei zweimal hochlaufen.<\/p>\n<p>Michel Bauer ben\u00f6tigt f\u00fcr die 20 km 2:00:43 h. Seine Gesamtzeit \u00fcber die drei Distanzen betrug 6:27:11 h, was der 42.
